Time Flies...

Marks Paper Company just released a new digital kit  - Time Flies (available at Two Peas in a Bucket). I love the bright colors in this kit and it has a nice mix of very detailed and very bold elements. Here are a few cards I made with the kit.

Here's something I love about hybrid. The butterfly in the center is the original butterfly from the kit, because it's digital, I was able to easily recolor it to create the others for this card.

Products -- Blank card: PaperSource; Cardstock: Bazzill; Letter Stickers: October Afternoon; Ribbon: Sundance Catalog; Acrylic Drops: The Robin's Nest.        Digital Paper and Elements -- Time Flies Kit from Marks Paper Company (Stacy Marks).

One this card, I extracted the little flower graphic from a sheet of the petterned paper that comes in the kit.

I like adding liquid applique to cards. It adds a nice texture and I think it's fun to use -- love watching it puff up when you heat it. On the card below I added some yellow liquid applique to the ornate fame.

More liquid applique here, this time a traced the swirls with white liquid applique.

Hi - I remember seeing your work during the 2008 52 card pick-up class at BPS. It was so gorgeous and creative! I'm happy to see you are still out there creating.
